  • If you are a Trainee or Apprentice you can view your Training Plan

  • Download an Application for Award    Note:  If you have outstanding fees you may not be able to access results or be provided with an Academic Record or Award

HOW TO ENROL
Before commencing your enrolment, it is important that you are familiar with Polytechnic West's Terms & Conditions of Enrolment.  To view Polytechnic West's Terms & Conditions of Enrolment select Terms and Conditions from College Information on the top menu.  By enrolling online, you are considered to have accepted all Terms and Conditions.
If you are familiar with our Terms & Conditions of Enrolment and you are a new student wishing to enrol, select "Self Enrolment" on the menu at the top and choose among the type of course options available PT (Part-time), FT (Full-time) Award Course search, ACE (Adult Community Education) course search. Proceed as prompted by the screens.
If you have a TAFE Admissions Offer you can accept this offer by selecting "Self Enrolment" and  then "Accept Tafe Admissions Offer". You will need to provide your offer number, Date of Birth (dd/mm/ccyy) and post code as it appears on your offer letter.
If you are a ContinuingPolytechnic West student, please login as an existing student. To log in, click on the [Login] link on the left of this screen. The Username is your Polytechnic West student ID number (Starting with 13) and your password is defaulted to your date of birth (you must have enrolled prior to logging yourself in as an existing student).
If you are an Apprentice/Trainee wishing to enrol, please select “Self Enrolment” on the menu at the top of the screen. You will need to provide your Training Contract ID, Year of Study, Polytechnic West Student ID, Gender, Date of Birth, and Post Code.  If your employer is paying your fees in 2011 they must complete an Authorisation to Invoiceform sign and return this form to the Customer Service Centre at your campus of study. Once your enrolment is complete and payment is required please select the option "Pay at College"
LOGGING IN
Enter your Student ID, which is 13 followed by your Polytechnic West Student ID. It should be nine digits long. E.g. 139876543.Note: Your Polytechnic West Student ID can be found on a Polytechnic West Statement of Academic Record or on a previous Confirmation of Enrolment or you may phone Delivery Systems on (08) 9442 8335 for login assistance. Your default password will be your Date of Birth, entered in the following format without spaces - ddmmccyy. For example; if your date of birth is 8 September 1981, your user ID will be your Student ID and your password is 08091981.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Once you have completed the enrolment process the system will prompt you for payment. You have two options you can select "Pay Online" and pay the full enrolment amount via a credit card. You also have the option to select the "Pay at College" button however your enrolment will not be confirmed until you attend Polytechnic West and make payment. If you are choosing the Pay at College option you will need to attend your campuses Customer Service Centre to pay a deposit of up to $100 and complete a Direct Debit Form.
DIRECT DEBIT
In 2012 Polytechnic West will introduce Direct Debit. There will now be three methods of payment available.
- Pay in Full
- Direct Debit
- Third Party (Employer)
Direct Debit is fast, easy and makes your day a little less stressful. All you need is your bank details including BSB number, Account Number and a completed Direct Debit Request Form. The instalment amount will be taken out of your nominated account on a fortnightly basis until paid in full.

If you are under the age of 18 you will need a parent or guardian with you to use this option.
 
ENROLLING INTO A SHORT (ACE) COURSE 
Our Adult Centre for Education (ACE) offers a diverse range of short courses designed for leisure or to develop, enhance existing skills. To find out more about what is on offer contact ACE centre on 9267 7888.
NO SMOKING
All Polytechnic West campuses and facilities are be smoke free.
PARKING
Please be aware any student parking on campus will be required to purchase a parking permit from the Customer Service Centre of their campus of study. To purchase a permit proof of enrolment must be shown such as a confirmation of enrolment.
The cost of parking is for $44 per semester for students however, if you have a motorbike, or are an ACE student parking is free of charge however you must still obtain a parking permit.
It is important to note that a parking permit does not guarantee access to a parking bay. Bays are allocated on a “first come, first served” basis. Permits must be clearly displayed on the lower left hand side of the vehicle front windscreen.
HAVING TROUBLE LOGGING IN?
If you are a previous Polytechnic West (formerly Swan TAFE) student, it is likely that you may have changed your password in other college systems like WebCT or the student portal. If so, please use your WebCT or student portal password to login.

STILL HAVING PROBLEMS LOGGING IN?
Your access to the student portal may have been disabled if you were a previous Polytechnic West student and have an outstanding enrolment debt. You will need to clear your debt before your account is re-activated.
